Dennis does a great job with these LUTs. Skin tones look fantastic and they are definitely well worth the money. If you’re on the fence, or looking around, I’d say just pull the trigger on these and you won’t be disappointed.

A really accurate LUT, colours are amazing, and the highlight roll off is superb. I have tried a few different LUTs and this one is by far the best. Highly recommend it.

Dennis has obviously put a lot of effort into making these LUTs. As a longtime photographer and new S1H owner making the transition to moving images and color grading these have been a godsend. Saving me countless hours of tinkering in Resolve. They are a marked improvement on the Varicam LUTs provided by Panasonic.
As much as Panasonic touts the color science of the S1H as being based on their Varicam line and easily able to serve as a seamless B-cam I think the difference in sensor makes applying the same transformations/conversions problematic. I’ve found the stock LUTs left me with a lot of work left to do to flatter skin tones (particularly Caucasian). And my Resolve chops just aren’t there yet!
Dennis’s conversion LUTs put me in a much better place from which I can begin to add my own stylistic grade.
Also included are LUTs for BRAW and ProRes Raw (for both conversion and monitoring) along with a very polished informational .PDF with workflow recommendations for best results that I found very helpful.
Dennis is also very active on the LUMIX Facebook page. A kind and thoughtful presence. And evidently considered an invaluable resource by the community.
All this to say buying these LUTs has been money well spent!
