Queen is a dark thriller produced by 55Media starring Isio Esiekpe, Uche Aguh, Adwoa Akoto and Oseloka Obi. The thriller is an Afro-juju, Old-Nollywood throwback that introduces us to Nkem, a well meaning Nigerian immigrant woman, pregnant with twins for husband, Ozi. The two of them, loving and seemingly a normal couple, discover disturbing secrets about one another as supernatural forces abound, threaten both their marriage and the life of their babies.

In this Scene Nkem and husband Ozi, invite over their next door neighbors, Emeka and Chioma for a friendly dinner over the celebration of the news that they are due for twins. Chioma, sinister and not lacking of witty bite, makes a remark to Nkem, which sends her into a bid of panic and acute shock.

In this Scene Nkem, walks without sense of self or person, into the middle of a shallow river bend in a deep dark forest, where she calls on the Queen mother, ‘Medua’ through incantations. When the mother answers her call, Nkem is stunned by her words, her beauty and her presence.
