BOBO ONABOLU TO STAR IN THE NEW 55MEDIA COMEDY ‘CRACKED’

Bobo Onabolu has been tapped to star in the new 55Media Comedy, Cracked. The new 55Media Film, which is a satirical dark comedy tells the story of a woman, Tolu [Onabolu] who falls in love with ‘Alex’, the soothing voice behind her Audio devices at home. The dark comedy takes a turn when Tolu convinces herself that not only is Alex real, but that the two of them are destined to be together.

Uche Aguh will write, direct and produce the script under the 55Media Banner, as part of the new Project55 initiative, an initiative that will yield a series of short films in 2021, all centered on Black women. Long time collaborator, Dennis Schmitz will co-produce on the Project and serve as the Director of Photography.

Cracked, starring Bobo Onabolu is slated to commence production in July 2021 in London.

Bobo Onabolu will make her debut into the 55Media Universe with the Comedy, Cracked. Onabolu will serve as a Co-writer as well as a Producer on the Project.
